Biography

Dinis Cabral was born in 2005 and started playing drums at the age of 7, with music always being a part of his life!
He started studying at EMA (school of music and arts of aroeira).
Later, at the age of 13 he entered the conservatory to study percussion, only to find that drum was his true passion.
In the same year he was sponsored by Lismúsica and Zildjian, through Road Crew.

At the age of 13, Dinis began studying with Michael Lauren at the International Drum Academy.
During this time Dinis had the chance to learn with great drummers in several Workshops, Masterclasses like Vicky Marques, André Silva, Trilok Gurtu, Michael Lauren, Bruno Pedroso, Hugo Danin, António Sanches, Dave Weckl, Peter Erskine, Gergo Borlai, Virgil Donati, Gary Husband, etc...
He is currently a freelancer and playing in several projects, from jazz, fusion and world music to pop and rock. 

He played/plays in Bassab Eddy Slap Project, Arsénio Martins Aroma Trio, Uxu Kalhus, Red Flag, Remember Old Times, La Bohème Eventos, Rockcetera, Soulmagic, Rock Street Boys, Martini Shot, The Truth About Pink, etc...

In 2022 he recorded the album Bassab Eddy Slap Project, with Eddy Slap on the bass and Luis Lapa on the electric guitar.
